How to compress an image for a faster website

Large images slow pages and hurt Core Web Vitals. Compress photos before you upload them to a blog, shop or WhatsApp broadcast.

Use the Compress Image tool, start around 0.7 quality, then check the new file size. If text looks muddy, raise quality slightly.

For logos and screenshots, PNG or WebP is often better than heavy JPG compression.
